See INFO SHEET attached below.

1. PREPARATION

1. Calculate the cubic feet of space in each room to be treated.
2. Determine the appropriate packets to place in area (see usage chart
below).
3. Prepare warning placards and post at entries into the structure.
4. Close all windows and exterior doors.
5. Block sunlight from windows or treat overnight as sunlight weakens the performance of the gas.
6. Confirm or adjust treatment site conditions to a temperature range between 65°F – 90°F and a relative humidity of 65%+. Optimal conditions are 70°F and 70% relative humidity.
7. Gather personal protective equipment (PPE) including properly fitted  PT100 full face gas mask with organic vapor filter and latex gloves.

25g – Average coverage – 250 cu.ft. / packet

50g – Average coverage – 500 cu.ft. / packet

100g – Average coverage – 1,000 cu.ft. / packet

2. SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

REMOVE PLANTS, PETS, & COVER SMOKE DETECTORS, POST WARNING PLACARDS. REMOVE AIR FILTER, TURN OFF AC/HEAT, & TURN HVAC FAN & CEILING FANS ON.
OPEN INTERIOR DOORS.
AIR-OUT PROCEDURE – OPEN DOORS & WINDOWS – AIR OUT FOR ONE HOUR. – RUN HVAC SYSTEM.
CLOSE CONTAINER & THROW AWAY.
INSTALL NEW AIR FILTERS.

PPE REQUIRED
1. Put on PPE including a P95 mask and latex gloves.
2. Do not air-out containment or structure before clearance test if post
treatment testing is required.
3. Re-enter the treated areas with proper PPE gear at end of treatment.
Open all doors and windows to allow space to air-out for a minimum of
one hour or as needed. A fan can be used to accelerate final air out.
4. Close plastic holder with liquid and packet inside after initial air-out.
Remaining yellow liquid is an oxidizer – do not spill as bleaching may
occur.
5. Dispose of plastic holder and contents in an outdoor refuse container
or composter. Packet is biodegradable and holder is #3 plastic and
recyclable. Plastic holder tray may be rinsed and reused.
6. Remove blue painter’s tape if used.
7. Run HVAC system in treated spaces after treatment. If applicable,
install new air filter.

2. SETUP
1. Remove all plants and pets and cover fish tanks.
2. Clean and vacuum space to be treated. Cover all smoke detectors.
3. Seal gaps around windows and doors (if needed) using blue painter’s tape to prevent air exchange outside of treatment area.
4. Prepare space by standing all chair/couch cushions and mattresses upright, closing fireplace flue damper, opening all closets, cabinets and, drawers.
5. Open all room doors outside of containments to allow gas circulation.
6. Secure the supplied warning placards to entry door(s).
7. Remove and discard old air filters prior to gas treatment.
8. Clean plenum(s) behind air filter(s), clean the return air plenum and distribution plenum at HVAC unit if accessible. Clean duct work prior to gassing if needed.
9. Turn off AC/heat system. Move fan switch from AUTO to ON. This will recirculate the gas through the treatment area and ductwork that is outside of any containment. Use a small fan to circulate the air in any room when no HVAC system is present.

FOR AREAS INSIDE OF CONTAINMENTS
• Make sure all supply air vents or exhaust vents are sealed.
• Use a small desktop type fan to circulate the air inside the containment.
• Do not place the small fan so it blows over the top of the gas packet.

3. TREATMENT

1. Put on PPE including a P95 mask and latex gloves.
2. Remove contents of kit from plastic holder.
3. Place plastic holder on a flat, level surface a minimum of three feet from the floor (to prevent possible bleaching from occurring) and a minimum of eight feet from the HVAC return air vent. DO NOT PLACE DIRECTLY ON CARPET OR BEDS.
4. Place fan on low before packet is activated to circulate gas in treatment area.
5. Remove foil packet and fill plastic holder with room temperature or warm water to top of fill line.
6. Open foil wrapper, remove packet, and place the packet BLUE side down into the water. Packet will quickly expand, activate, and generate CLO2 gas.
7. Exit the space immediately after activating the packet and close and lock all exterior doors into the space. Do not enter the space at any time during treatment. Make sure warning placards are in place.
8. Allow the Remediation Bomb to work for a minimum of 12 hours. For maximum results treat space overnight.
